Oilseeds are those grains that are also valuable for the oil content they produce. Dry beans, or field beans, are several different types of edible seeds of a single species, Phaseolus vulgaris L. Dry peas are the small, edible round green beans which grow in a pod on the leguminous vine Pisum sativum.
